Success will require attention to detail, strong decision making, a safety-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm for Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) technology.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can recognize safety risks and develop mitigations.
The Senior Manager must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
This individual must instruct and train team members in company safety policies, identify and incorporate best practices and safety standards associated with prototyping and scaled manufacturing operations.
The Senior Manager should have a background in environmental compliance, industrial manufacturing and systems safety engineering.
She or he will be responsible for leading a team of safety managers and safety professionals at multiple sites.
He or she must create and execute leadership development plans for their team and demonstrate the ability to judge and assess safety talent and create metrics to ensure alignment with current and future business needs.
Export Control LicenseThis position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
