Job Description

Allegiance Staffing has partnered with several logistics clients that are currently looking to add several full time employees to their team. The ideal candidates will be safety focused, hardworking and willing to be flexible with job duties. These positions are located in Sumner, Puyallup and Tacoma and shifts are Monday - Friday (various shift hours) with the occasional Saturday shift.


  • Efficiently handle, load and unload freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.

  • Utilize mobile hand-held devices for tracking shipments.

  • Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 30 lbs. occasionally).

  • Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties.

  • Verify and complete required documentation and reports.

  • Adhere to company safety policies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Prompt, daily attendance at assigned work location.


  • At least 18 years of age.

  • Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills. (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, pushing/pulling freight throughout shift.

  • Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.

  • Ability to work independently and/or as a team member.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
