Specialty Business Development Manager

We seek a Sales Manager, responsible for developing and growing the sales strategy and relationships with specialty retailers (including small chain and sole proprietor retail accounts).

Position
Summary: Achieve sales growth through developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing program for Wholesale Accounts. Expand profitable relationships with customers in support of increasing their sales. This requires both technical and implementation abilities in the B2B and/or online retail sectors .

The ideal candidate uses various distribution channels to drive business for Specialty account customers by enhancing consumer awareness of our many product lines. Lead cross-functional teams, strategically anticipate sales trends, and create a profitable sales presence with the customer. A self-starter who welcomes both responsibility and achieving challenging goals will do well. The outcomes are highly visible, require strong self-motivation and initiative.

Responsibilities include:
1. Driving sustainable sales growth in the assigned accounts and industries
2. Developing, coordinate and execute marketing communication plans
3. Creating, implementing and evaluating results of sales strategies
4. Driving sales strategies from concept through implementation by working cross functionally
5. Soliciting, sharing and responding to customer feedback
6. Managing contracted Sales Reps in assigned region(s)
7. Monitoring ROI
8. Fostering, building and maintaining strong relationships
9. Proactively acquiring and maintaining toy industry knowledge
11. Traveling to meet with customers or rep groups at select trade shows
10. Presenting a positive, safe and reliable corporate image to the customer
11. Other duties as assigned

Skills include:

2. Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Advertising or similar field (exp. may substitute)
3. Excellent, clear and articulate communication/interpersonal abilities
5. Generate sales through mutually beneficial marketing efforts

7. Achieves results by wisely managing time and resources
8. Ability to fluently comprehend (read, write and speak) English

13. Develops and presents strategic recommendations to management for review and approval

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Experience in B2B Retail (and e-commerce preferred) business practices
2. Experience with retail sales, toy industry or other related knowledge and skills
4. Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish is helpful

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
