RME New Technology Introduction Sr Tech
Amazon is at the head of innovation in automation and robotics for logistic buildings, and we are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Reliability Engineering Technician to join the Early Life-cycle Management - New Technologies Introduction team.
The focus of the Senior Reliability Engineering Technician role is to ensure safety regulations, policies and best maintenance practices are adhered to during the early design and execution phases of new robotics technologies destined for Amazon logistic buildings.
They will strongly collaborate with R&D teams to ensure effective maintenance strategies are designed and executed and to achieve high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
Key job responsibilitieso Role model health & safety best practices and monitor those around them to ensure they follow the example they set.
o Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate high levels of engineering knowledge.
o Work to become RME SME on the new technologies they will be assigned.
o Support and execute acceptance tests (FAT and SAT).
o Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
o Occasionally execute preventive and operational maintenance tasks on machines prototypes, installation, testing and troubleshooting support during the early development phase of the equipment.
o Insist on high standards and champion continuous improvement:
maintainability, accessibility, safety, RME best practices.
o Develop asset list, EAM/APM structure and Preventive Maintenance plan in accordance with manufacturer indications.
o Review, approve and guide the improvement of the whole documentation technical package:
manuals, BOM, training documents, diagrams, etc.
o Maintenance execution and evaluation.
o Building service and compliance maintenance.
o LOTO procedures and work-permit for high-risk activities review.

ELM works as a quality gatekeeper for RME, making sure systems handed over from project delivery teams (Ops Engineering, Construction, Startup, Robotic, etc.
) are of the highest quality, inclusive of compliance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
The scope for ELM New Technology Introduction covers complex automation equipment in all business lines and countries in the EMEA and NA regions.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Sumner, WA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
