Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a talented Payroll Specialist to join our team! This opportunity includes processing weekly payroll, accounts payable, assisting in the accounting department, and more.
Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, has strong organizational skills, provides excellent customer service at all levels, and has previous payroll experience.
In this role you will:
Reconcile timecards in a timely manner prior to payroll submission.
Make adjustments to pay statements as necessary and submit accurate payroll via payroll system.
Review weekly payroll report and submit to financial institution.
Process payroll journal entry to upload into accounting system.
Submit certified payrolls through Labor and Industries website.
Assist corporate financial officers and branch personnel as necessary.
Assist with month end closing.
Invoice matching, data entry, and reconciling of vendor statements.
Answer phones and greet visitors when Administrative Assistant is not present.
Perform filing, copying and other related duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
Excellent oral communication and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
